clue for qns 1,2,3
1a]dy/dx=using the normal differenation, it should give u the answer 3x^2-12x
1b]dy/dx=0,firstly simplify 3x^2-12 will give you 3(x-4)=x=0 or x=4
2a)dy/dx 2x-1/x^2+2.using quotient rule it should give you -2(x-2)(x+1)/(x^2+2)^2
2b)dy/dx=0,-2x^2+2x+4=(x+1)(-2x+4),x=-1 or x=2.
3a)using product rule,dy/dx=3(x+3)/2(x+7)^1/2
3b)dy/dx=0 3(x+3),when expanded gives 3x+9=0,thus x=-3

ReplyDeleteYou are giving too much!!!!!!! Let them try on their own! Some of the questions are so standard/simple that you should not be posting ,clues or solutions.
ReplyDeleteClues should be for very challenging questions.
ANyway good attempt.
