1)erosion,deposition and transportation.
2)energy
3)vegetation,permeability of rocks, climate and drainage basin.
4)gradient,roughness of channel or wetted perimeter.
5)hydraulic action,corrasion,attrition and solution
6)traction,saltation,suspension and solution
7)The hjulstrom curve states that as the higher the energy, the more fast deposition, erosion and transportation can take place. An example is particles of more then the size 0f 10 milimetres like the boulders, need a speed of 100cm/s.However,particles like clay need a speed of lesser then 100cm/s. So,this states that if the energy of the river is lesser like in the lower course, it takes more time to erode, deposit and transport the materials, thus forming landforms like deltas and floodplains. However in the upper course it takes a faster time to erode, deposit and transport,so the fluvial processes are dependent on the energy of the river.
8)upper course-v shaped, middle course u shape and lower course flat shaped.
9)Upper course-waterfall,gorge and v-shaped valley
Middle course-meanders, u -shaped valley and oxbow lake.
Lower course-flat floored valley, floodplains, meanders, oxbow lake and deltas
Waterfall is a vertical flow of fast flowing water.
Gorge is a deep, narrowed and steep sided valley.
V-shaped valley,is formed by vertical erosion,it means a low area between hills or moutains
Meanders are curves and bend along the river.
Oxbow lake is formed by meanders that become very distinct.
U-shaped valley are formed by lateral erosion,so it is wider then the upper course.
Flat floored valley is wider then middle course as it has a low energy, thus forming a flat floored
valley.
Floodplains are formed by the depositions of materials.
Delta is the accumulation of sediments at the river mouth.
